Shopping complex inside Tokyo Station

Our important symbol, Tokyo station renewed shopping area in 2020. ( inside the ticket gate )

This area named “GRANDSTA” is awesome shopping complex teeming with various Japanese cutting edge things.
Train related goods, Tokyo related goods, traditional but modern Japanese design items, delicious foods,… It’s so fun to browse around not only for foreigners but for Japanese people.

If you have plan to use Tokyo station for transfer, I suggest you to spare some time to walk around “inside” the Tokyo station. (At least 30min, or couple of hours if you can)

*Tokyo Station is really huge and complicated – better ask station staffs if you could not find the map.

It’s Huge Maze – Before you get lost

Station map never help you… Even I get lost sometime.
(Please see maps below – it’s impossible )

Please ask station staffs or shop staffs where you want to go anytime.

Most of good souvenir stores are on B1F.

And please note that platform area are always crowded – about 800,000 people are using this station a day.
