Do you know “Family restaurant“? – It’s common keyword in Japan for parents – means “Family-oriented chain restaurants” or “Baby/Kids friendly chain restaurants”.

I will introduce you Japanese major family restaurant chain that has stores around Ginza area, still opens on new years holidays.

• Those family restaurants are mostly very crowded on weekend lunch time. Recommends to visit before noon if could.

Fujiya restaurant (Ginza)

Fujiya is one of the oldest cake shop company in Japan, then also started family-oriented restaurant from 1922.
In Ginza, 1F is cake shop, 2F is family restaurant.
“Milky” (soft milk candy) would be attached if you ordered kids plate.

Saizeriya is “Italian” family restaurant.
Price is really reasonable – for example, red house wine by glass is 100yen, Doria with meat sauce is about 300yen!

Royal Host (West Ginza)

Royal Host is little bit more premium than other family-restaurants chain.

Denny’s opens 24 hours, not so many restaurant does it in Ginza area.
