[ Tokyo Toy Museum ] Highly recommended Indoor-Playground in Tokyo

There are more than 10,000 kinds of TOYS from all over Japan + overseas, and kids can play with them all !!
(not “in show case” time of museum. )

The building is reused from actual elementary school, so you can feel Japanese public school’s retro atmosphere.

Location

About 5 -10 min walk from “Yotsuya-sanchoume” Station (Marunouchi Line, Tokyo Metro)

It’s in a small alley of residential area of Yotsuya.

Tips

No food or drinks inside

So better eat well before visit.

There are no rest area for drinks or small snacks… eventually, when kids are hungry, have to leave the museum for lunch or snack.

There are some restaurants near museum, mostly 5-10min away.

Re-entry is not allowed on the weekend

If weekday, you can re-entry after lunch or coffee break. But not on weekday ..!

Need reservation for BABY area (1hour rotation system)

Baby stroller parks at entrance

Better bring diaper and towels or milks with you to inside.

(no worry no one would steel stroller and belongings )

Close at 16:00

Time fly here.

There is Fire Museum close by

it’s close at 17:00 so if still have enegy!
