Who is your guide, Miyoko?

Hi I’m Miyoko, writer of this blog, living in Tokyo for almost 20 years & raising child in central Tokyo.

I know Tokyo well especially kids-friendly places from my own experiences. ( include bad&good) .

I started this informational blog about 6 years ago to help mom&pops who are struggling at new city just like me (especially for non- Japanese mom&pops – there were so limited information in English at that time ),
and then started rental stroller businesses about 5years ago, from my reader’s request.

After meeting with many wonderful families from overseas – Now I am supporting a little deeper by request.

Kid-Friendly Itineraries, & Flexible : This would be flexible based on the mood and conditions of your little kids, ensuring they remain happy and engaged throughout the tour. also no worry about finding diaper changes area & sudden toilet call.

Short-term, between 2-4 hours : Spending just a few hours together on the first day can be quite beneficial. For example, navigating from the maze-like Tokyo Station to the reserved hotel, accompanying shopping, and experiencing the best of Asakusa, Odaiba, Shibuya, and Ginza. You can decide how you’d like to spend it.

Driving for clients (for safety reason)

7, Cancellation policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 6 hours in advance of the start date&time of the experience.

After you send an inquiry, I will respond within 3 days regarding the availability of the schedule.
Confirmation will be made after our discussion via mail
Please understand that we cannot fulfill your request if the schedule does not fit.
This is a walking tour, so please wear comfortable shoes
This experience requires good weather. If it was raining, I can offer different places.
When cancellation occurs due to unavoidable circumstances such as illness, terrible weather, please inform us in advance. we can change the date&time, or cancel.
If it’s weekend, my daughter might join to the tour – if only your kids are ok with it. (she is 7yo, friendly character)

Why I started this service

I have met many families from overseas through my baby stroller rental businesses.

During these period, I’ve received many questions like

“Could you provide private guiding services? We are not sure if other group tour would be enjoyable for my kids… “　

I also understand later that many visitors have struggled about transportation system in Tokyo, caught up in the heavy crowds, hard to find baby/kids-friendly restaurants etc… then I thought I could have saved their day much better.

So, I decided to launch this service it little by little.

Q1: How much cash do I need if we go out for half day tour?

→ A : As average, estimated local cash needed : 4,000~5,000 Japanese yen per parson / adult

– Public transportation fee: approx. 1,000 yen /person,
– Your meal: 1500 to 3000JPY depending on your preference
– Local street foods : 600yen-1000yen /person

Q2: Do I need deposit for booking?

→ A : No, you don’t need it.

Q3 : Can I see Miyoko’s Certifications?

I have certifications of “Certified Domestic Travel Service Supervisor” published by ANTA (All Nippon Travel Agent Association).
Although it’s in Japanese, I can send you the document sheet if you would like to check in advance.

Q3 : What’s the recommendation in Tokyo ?
