[ Maxcell Aqua park Shinagawa ] Entertaining Aquarium near Shinagawa station

This aquarium is one of the most easy-access aquarium in central Tokyo.

Not only convenient location, this aquarium has Dolphin shows at big indoor round pool, and unique installation with digital graphics arts.

You can get ticket online in advance, or at counter on the day.

Opening Hours

Opening hour is longer than other aquariums – night aquarium might be good idea as special travel memory.

Basic opening hours

Weekdays : 10:00 am – 7:30 pm (Last entry at 7:00pm)
Saturdays and holidays : 10:00 am – 8:00pm (Last entry is 7:00pm)

This aquarium starts from Merry-go-round of sea life, and Pirate ship ride!

Dolphin shows

Dolphin’s clever move & relations of trust with trainers are wonderful. Music & Lighting of show is also worth to see.

My daughter enjoy wet sitting in front every time, with rain-poncho.

[ Tips ]

Usually they have 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 16:00, 15:30, and 19:00. (please check official site for latest info)
19:00 is night version show.
Many guest starts to keep good seats about 30min before shows.
If you sit in front, you would wet.
You can buy Rain-Poncho (100yen ) at shop near Dolphin pool.
After show, staffs will rend you towel for someone get wet.
After show, please be seated a while till staffs ask you leave.
Popcorn, soft-served ice cream, drink include beers are available at shop near Dolphin pool.

Huge tube will show up after dolphin pool area. Manta ray is flying over gracefully.

Aquarium souvenir shop

Many cute goods will make you and kids stop…
Better plan 10-20 min to see this shop in advance before you move to another place.

Approx. 2-3 hours.

Stroller parks, Nursing room?

You can park stroller at entrance, or enter with stroller.
*No rental stroller available.

Nursing room is on 2F.

Food and Drinks?

There are no food-eating place with chair&table inside, only some drink stands for adults and popcorn kind of stuff.
If you want to have lunch or dinner around here, There are restaurants / food court next to the aquarium building.

Better bring in water and little snacks for little kids.

There are 2 kiosk inside. (Drinks, Popcorn, Soft served ice creams etc) No seats for eating.
