[ Tsukiji ] 7 BEST Family friendly coffee shop / cafe in Tsukiji area, Tokyo

Tsukiji outer fish market is fun to walk around, but it’s kind of hard to find children-friendly cafe/coffee shop.
Those are my personal recommendation in order. (*within 5min walk from Tsukiji station)
Not every cafe has enough space, but good to know for urgent coffee breaks.

Tsumugi cafe

Japanese modern style cafe located Inside the Tsukiji Honganji temple.
Clean and calm, food is good, nursing room is really helpful in this area.

Hoshino coffee

On the corner of Tsukiji main crossing, you can enjoy hand-drip coffee and souffle-pancake in the chic coffee shop.
You can ask sofa seat for baby.

Yonemoto coffee

Opened in 1960 in Tsukiji, Yonemoto coffee is intimate local coffee shop facing on market street.
Space is compact though, their coffee has always been loved by locals.
Soft served ice cream is recommended for small children.

*There is also 2nd store inside market street.
*Owner Mr.Yonemoto is in the 1st store.

Komeda is (Vegan cafe)

It’s newly opened “Plant-based” cafe.

If you or your kid is vegetarian or has some allergies, it would be helpful.
Burger made by beans, pancake made by rice powder are on menu.

*Comeda coffee is famous franchise chain cafe in Japan, and they launched new brand focusing on SDGs.

Compact sized Starbucks cafe.

Turret coffee Tsukiji

Just around the corner of Starbucks, there is another famous local coffee shop in Tsukiji,
Very small store with couple of seats, but customer visit from everywhere.

It’s actually more for someone really wants to drink really good coffee.
If you go with family, I recommend to enjoy their coffee at Tsukiji Honganji temple public garden. (2min walk from here)

*”Turret” is small carrier-vehicle being used inside the Tsukiji/Toyosu fish wholesale market.
