Osaka’s most famous street food!
These little round balls are made from batter and filled with diced octopus, green onion, and tempura bits.
You can watch them being cooked right in front of you —Try them fresh and hot from a local stand.
But Be careful! The inside of takoyaki is extremely hot and can burn your mouth.
When giving it to children, please break it open with chopsticks and let it cool a bit first.

Another Osaka soul food, often called a “Japanese pancake” or “savory pizza.”
You can choose your favorite toppings like pork, seafood, or cheese.

A must-see for history lovers.
The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park, perfect for picnics and walks.
Inside, you’ll find a museum where you can learn about samurai and Japanese history in a kid-friendly way.

4. Universal Studios Japan (USJ)
One of Japan’s top theme parks, located in Osaka Bay.
It’s home to Super Nintendo World, Minion Park, Harry Potter, and many family-friendly rides.

5. Osaka Aquarium “Kaiyukan”
Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is one of the city’s most popular attractions.
Its two huge whale sharks are the stars here, gracefully swimming in the massive central tank that fascinates both kids and adults.
You can re-enter the aquarium, so it’s a good idea to step out for lunch at the nearby shopping mall before coming back to explore more.

6. Tsutenkaku Tower
A retro landmark of Osaka, located in the Shinsekai area.
There are many “Billiken” (lucky god) around here, with many colorful restaurants – Great for taking unique Osaka-style photos!

7. Dotonbori
The most famous entertainment district in Osaka, with the iconic Glico running man sign — full of neon lights, street food, and energy!
However, it’s always very crowded, especially at night, so be extra careful with young children.
