Traveling to Tokyo with kids? As a parent raising a child in central Tokyo, I’d like to share useful tips for parents and their kids based on my experience. I hope your family enjoys Japan!

Please leave a comment “Sakura”,I’ll send you my original “Cherry Blossom viewings spots Map”🌸 In recent years, the number of tourists has skyrocketed,,,and the crowds at famous cherry blossom spots have become overwhelming. Taking small children into such massive crowds can be quite challenging. For example Huge queue for toilet ... it's like a hell for little kids 💦 So, I’ve personally selected 10 spots that are much more family-friendly compared to those. These are spots where you can easily find a place to escape if your little one gets fussy, with nearby restrooms and restaurants. And of course, the cherry blossoms are absolutely stunning. (there are more than 10 spots, but I’ll save those for another time...) I hope you will enjoy this special moment！ここ数年は観光客が爆増していて、お花見の有名スポットの混雑ぶりは異常なほどです。小さな子供連れで有名所の凄まじい人混みに行くことはかなり大変な思いをするかもしれません。（トイレとか長ーーーい大行列で、子どもには地獄😭）そこで、私の個人的な経験から、子連れでも比較的行きやすい場所10ヶ所を厳選しました。ぐずった時に逃げ込める場所があるとか、トイレやごはん屋さんが近くにあるとか。でも文句なしに桜が綺麗なおすすめスポットたち。 10ヶ所に絞りきれなかった他の場所もたくさんありますが、それはまた別の機会に。。さぁ、桜の季節を楽しみましょう🌸 - - - - - - - - - - - - @tokyoguide_for_family ⬅️ Follow me for Tokyo info♡ Hi it’s Miyoko, a pure Japanese living in Tokyo with my daughter (8y). You won't find many places like this! *There are several locations in Tokyo and Yokohama, so check out the AniTouch nearest you. ⬛️TIPS ・No re-entry allowed, so I recommend eating before you come in. ・It's warm inside, so wear layers you can adjust. ・No food or drinks allowed inside for humans. ・The staff are very friendly, so feel free to ask them if you have any questions about the animals. ・For Toilet, please ask staff (will use shopping mall's toilet)・Weekends... get crowded. Would you like to Experience a true Japanese party? Yakatabune is one of great dinner experience for family. Many companies offer various Yakatabune boats. Choose by time, menu, or boarding spot. This time, we rode on “Harumiya” Yakatabune boat with my relatives from Iwate - from kids to silver age, everyone enjoyed a lot - we shared wonderful time together...!! Check out their cherry blossom cruises , it's so popular - I recommend to check out website and make reservations asap. ⬛️ TIPS • When riding a shared boat, make friends with your Japanese neighbors. Even shy ones get friendly when they’re a little tipsy🤗 • The night sea can be cold because of the breeze. Bring a jacket. • If you’re celebrating a birthday or anniversary, mention it when you reserve.
